Frequently Asked Questions

What is your cancellation policy?

Guest receives 100% if cancellation occurs at least 30 days before arrival; Guest receives 50% if cancellation occurs at least 15 days before arrival; No refunds within 15 days of arrival. Travel Insurance, Damage Protection and any credit card processing fees initially paid are non-refundable. 

Do you offer Travel Insurance?

Yes we do. Travel insurance is optional, but we recommend purchasing it. It is important to know that without travel insurance, refunds are not given due to such circumstances as weather related issues, red tide, pandemics, etc..  During the booking process you will be provided the option to purchase a policy. Be sure to read and understand the coverages to see what may work for you.

Do you require a security deposit?

No, we do not require a security deposit. A non-refundable “Damage Waiver” fee is included in the total rental cost. The damage waiver will cover reimbursement for some non-intentional damages, i.e broken dishes, plates, TV, etc. Smoking and Pet related damages are NOT covered under this damage waiver. Please notify us immediately if any damages occur.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is after 4:00 pm on the day of your arrival.  Check-out is before 10:00 am on the day of your departure.

What is your pet policy?

We love our dog and house-trained pets are fully welcome with a non refundable fee, so bring your furry friends! We provide a small dog bed, doggie bowls as well as poop bags. We do ask that dogs are kept off of the couches and beds. If your dog MUST be on the bed with you, we supply multiple dog blankets throughout the house and ask that you PLEASE cover the areas they will be laying on.

When will I receive my arrival instructions?

After you have booked and signed the rental agreement you will receive our Touch-Stay digital guidebook (this has tons of area info and everything you need to know about the cottage). The message that comes 2 days before your check in date will have WiFi, door access code and other important house information.

How far is the beach from the cottage?

Our cottage is 2 short blocks to the sparkling waters and beautiful sand of Cherry Grove Beach!

Do you supply linens?

Yes, we provide quality linens - bath towels, wash cloths, bed sheets, pillow cases, and kitchen towels.

Is WIFI and Cable Television provided?

Yes, free and secure hi-speed WIFI and 3 Roku smart TV's all with spectrum cable TV are provided. The WIFI passwords will be provided via email prior to your stay.

Can I bring my boat? Where can I store my boat trailer?

Yes you can but you should check with us on boat / trailer size so we can confirm it will fit under the house.

Can I bring my motorcycle?

Yes, we allow no more than 2 motorcycles parked at the property.

Do you supply beach gear?

Our cottage has everything you need for a great day at the beach! Beach chairs, coolers, umbrella, beach toys, folding beach table, beach wagon and we even supply 6 quality beach towels. We want to make your vacation as easy and as stress free as possible (you are also welcome to use the guest storage room for any other beach, fishing or small recreational gear you may bring). There is also a corn hole set and bags in the storeroom for your enjoyment.

Do you supply toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags and soaps?

Our cottage comes complete with a full supply of household and bathroom items; Coffee K-Cups, assorted tea, trash bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, a few rolls of toilet paper, hand soap, and some paper towels. Each en suite bathroom has high quality, hotel styled amenities. Including body wash, shampoo, conditioner, q tips, and even a razor....So don't worry if you forget a few things. We have 4 kids and a dog, we know how it goes...we got you covered!

Do you have a clothes washer and dryer?

Yes, we have a full size washer and dryer.

What if I leave an item behind?

If anything is left behind, we will do our best to get it back to you, but you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
